Our Studio Dog Competition

It is agreed that this contract will govern terms and conditions on which the Photographer/s will take images of the Client's photographic portrait session (details of which are attached) and it is agreed for the sake of the certainty that this contract with any written representations made by the Photographer/s set out the total contract made between the parties. No variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing. However, this shall not limit the Client's right to take action against the Photographer/s for false or deliberately misleading statements made verbally by the Photographer/s prior to signing this contract.

1. Portrait Appointments
The Studio works strictly by an appointment only system.
2. Flash Photography
Please be aware that flash photography is used on the premises.
3. Viewing Appointments
You may make an appointment to view your photographs at the time of your session. Viewings are booked from 7 days after your session.
4. Prices
All prices fully include V.A.T (if applicable).
5. Reorders
All reorders shall be treated as an extension of this contract and will be charged for at the Photographer/s prices prevailing at the time of reorder. All reprint orders must be made in writing/email. We cannot be held responsible for errors in production.
6. Photographs
6.1 All image sizes are nominal. The Photographer/s will provide a pleasing colour balance but the Client accepts and agrees the Photographer/s cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially in man made fibers and that it is sometimes impossible to record photographically the exact colour seen by the human eye.
6.2 Lockwood Studios will not be liable for any of our client’s consequential losses, in the event of total photographic failure or data loss of your photographs from our computers.
7. Display
The client hereby allows the Photographer/s to display any image/s taken pursuant to this contract in their studios, portfolios, literature, and advertising. No use of the image/s will be made by the Photographer/s for other commercial reason except them written permission of the client. For the avoidance of doubt all copyright in the images are owned absolutely by Lockwood Studios within the provision of the Copyright, Design and Patents Act 1988. It is contrary to this Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically, electronically or by any other means any image created as part of this contract without the express permission of Lockwood Studios.
8. Copyright
The copyright of all photographs belongs to Lockwood Studios. It is a criminal offence to copy or reproduce these photographs by any means (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988).
9. Digital Files
Digital Files remain the property of Lockwood Studios. Client’s digital photographs may be deleted from our storage systems at anytime without giving clients notification.
10. Retouching
Retouching, digital manipulation and artiste finishing is available to the Client as an optional extra for an addition price to be agreed.
11. Reprint Orders
11.1 Owing to the exclusive nature of the contents of the photograph no refunds will be given once the reprint order is in production.
11.2 No part or parts of the reprint order will be released to the client unless the reprint order has been paid in full.
12. Complaints
12.1 The Client shall notify the Photographer/s in writing within 21 days of collection of their reprint order if they have a complaint regarding an issue which would be obvious within that 21 day period or otherwise, as soon as possible after the issue giving rise to the complaint has become apparent setting out the nature of the complaint in sufficient details so as to make it clear to the Photographer/s the nature and reason for the complaint.
12.2 We will make any efforts to rectify any complaints that refer to any part or parts of service or production that is in our direct control.
12.3 Our total liability for any complaint will be the cost of the reprint order of that part of parts that the complaint is based on.
13. Matters beyond the Parties' Control
The due performance or alteration of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by either party owing to any cause beyond their reasonable control.
14. Limitation of Liability
Our total consequential liability of refunds or compensation is limited to the total cost of services provided to the client.
15. Client Details
We will store your personal data on our systems for the following used:
15.1 To contact you our client to confirm bookings or cancellations of appointments.
15.2 To record all reprint orders and payments made towards them.
15.3 To record our correspondence between Lockwood Studios and our clients.
15.4 To contact our clients to inform them of our promotions and products that we think may be of interest to them.
15.5 We will not pass any of our client details data to a 3rd party.
16. Prizes
16.1. Any Prize offered will be advertised within the details of any competition that Lockwood Studios run.
16.2 Lockwood Studios will have the final say in the winner of any competitions that Lockwood Studios run.
